We give children the tools to be successful in the classroom by teaching: metacognition, good study habits, study skills, strategies, mindfulness, and growth mindset. We see the child as a WHOLE not just a grade to be left behind in one year. We give the child the strategies that they need to succeed from year to year.

Experienced tutors
Our founder and head tutor and consultant, Stephanie Frankel, has over twenty years of experience teaching in both public and private school settings in NYC and CT. She has taught children with learning disabilities in general education mainstream, resource room, and self-contained classrooms. Stephanie holds a double Masters Degree in Education and Reading and Learning Disabilities. She has an extensive background in writing IEP goals and benchmarks that are proven successful at meeting students where they are at and where they need to be in terms of measurable progress. Stephanie has acted as a bridge between the school and home supporting parents in the process that can be hard to navigate. She is a proud parent of two teenage girls.
